Busy Bee:

NOUN not at leisure; otherwise engaged.

Characterized by activity.

Actively and attentively engaged in work or pastime.

Busy. By definition, staying increasingly active.

I find myself plauged by a busy bee lifestyle, no matter how much I try to cut out. There are those constants in life that must be attended to: work, family, friends, self care, roomates, work, grocieries, work… did I mention work? However, for some of us reading is part of life that must be experienced and enjoyed, but who wants to waist their time searching for their next favorite book? I sure don't.

The basic goal of this site it to allow a better genre criteria that lets you to find your next read with enjoyment and style. All book stores carry the most generic of options; classics, history, fiction, non-fiction, young adult, religion, best sellers or my least favorite beach reads. Although we do need these categories (and I respect them, I do), how are we suppose to find what we are looking for in the vast options they provide us. Many of readers may stray away from one category thinking that none in its contents can satisfy their current reading needs.

Hopefully this site expands away from the normal just enough to make genres fun again, allowing you to better select a book. We are all busy, why waste it on a book that did not fill you up?

A bit about me: I am currently 26, which I am told is young, so I will live as such until I can no more. I live in Minneapolis which is a delightful blend of city and open space. I attempt to read a book a week, however badly I may fail at it sometimes, especially with our beautiful Minnesotan summers…can you blame me? I have enjoyed reading since my mother handed me "The Little Princess", and then found a new love for it when handed "Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone" (who didn't?). I try earnestly not to judge books, and to have an open mind. However, I do have a level of decency I try to uphold in life and that may indeed show here, I stray from unessecary unpleasantries. I have studied most religions and find them absolutely fascinating, my own religious upbringing may cause me to also veer away some other literary novels, however again I have a true desire to love all and try hard to maintain an open mind.

I hope you enjoy my new take on reading and searching for another read, this is truly a passion of mine.
